The shot was entirely animated (no live action) and was recreated in different weather patterns.
I was responsible for creating the rain for this shot. Might be difficult to see at this rez, but there are full collision events on the car and pavement. There are also emitters and collision events set up on each tire to re-create tire spray.

I graduated in August 2008 from Sheridan College Computer Animation, and previously gained diplomas from the Art Institute of Toronto in 2d and 3d animation. I have devoted a lot of time recently learning Maya's fluid effects and particle systems. I have completed freelance projects, and worked at various studios around the Greater Toronto Area, and currently as a 3D artist at Ganz Studios, creating online, in-game content for the Webkinz franchise.
