My photo
Brampton, Ontario, Canada
I am a 3d artist, looking to specialize in visual effects. I graduated in August 2008 from Sheridan College Computer Animation, and previously gained diplomas from the Art Institute of Toronto in 2d and 3d animation. I have devoted a lot of time recently learning Maya's fluid effects and particle systems. I have completed freelance projects, and worked at various studios around the Greater Toronto Area, and currently as a 3D artist at Ganz Studios, creating online, in-game content for the Webkinz franchise.

Objective
I would like to work for a successful and dynamic Visual Effects studio or Video Game
developer, to assist in creating stunning visuals for feature film or television, or console
and PC- based games. I am especially interested in creating 2d and 3d effects and
compositing.

Profile
I consider myself to be the ‘perpetual student’. I value knowledge highly, and am very
receptive to learning and discovering new ways to complete tasks. I enjoy experimenting
with new technologies, and evaluating their potential helping to achieve quality results for
the tasks at hand.
I have been described by some as being very detail-oriented, and analytical. I have a
refined ability for problem solving, and find myself more at home in a dynamic
environment, rather than a routine one.
I have been described as a mild introvert, gravitating more toward to small social
occasions, as opposed to large gatherings. I see myself as being intellectual, with an
active imagination. I enjoy a friendly competitive atmosphere.
I am, by nature, a creative person, and I delight in being able to entertain others through
my art and music.
Currently, I am directing most of my creative energies to becoming more proficient with
Maya’s Fluid Dynamics, and creating effects in compositors, such as After Effects.
My current website is a work in progress, and I am working to create something that is
able to showcase my work more efficiently.
